The wait is over, Hype DC’s very first Tasmanian store has arrived in Hobart.

Located on Murray Street in The Cat and Fiddle Arcade, the new space housed sneakers from mainstay brands including Nike, adidas, New Balance, Vans, Veja, Converse, Puma and more.

The store will also give Tasmanian locals the chance to get their hands on exclusive styles and limited releases, including The Roger from Roger Federer and Swiss brand On Running, and Vans’ collaboration with MoMA.

Established almost 20 years ago, Hype DC has grown from an idea conjured during a European holiday into Australia’s leading sneaker destination.

It offers carefully curated collection of sneakers from the best brands in the world, specialising in premium, short run releases alongside timeless classics that never go out of style.
